Terms of sale

This document says what you are buying, for how long, and what happens when the time runs out. It describes the service as it is, not as it is meant to become.

What the service is

The seller (Grzegorz Kaszuba) provides a ready TAK server environment: the connection server, a map in the browser and optionally voice and video. The environment is created automatically once payment clears and runs under the subdomain you choose when ordering. We do not sell hardware or ATAK software licences.

Two deadlines

Every environment has a suspension deadline and a deletion deadline. At the first one the server stops responding while the data is still there. At the second, later one, everything disappears together with the environment. You can see both deadlines on your account screen before they arrive. A deleted environment cannot be restored.

Trial period

A new account gets a trial period. A trial environment is free, lives shorter than a paid one and comes with no support. The trial ends on the date shown on your account and does not renew itself.

Payment

You pay up front, for the number of days chosen when ordering. The price is shown before you place the order and does not change afterwards — a change to the price list does not affect orders already paid. Sprzedawca korzysta ze zwolnienia podmiotowego z VAT (art. 113 ust. 1 ustawy o VAT). Ceny w cenniku są cenami końcowymi. The environment is created once the payment provider confirms the payment, usually within a few minutes.

Subdomain

The subdomain is not reserved when you order. If someone takes the same name between your order and your payment, the environment will not be created and your order goes to the operator. Write to the contact address — we will agree on another name or a refund.

Withdrawal from the contract

Buying as a consumer, you have fourteen days to withdraw from the contract. When ordering, however, you agree to the service starting before that period ends — without it the environment could not be created straight away. Once performance begins the right to withdraw expires, and you pay for the time already used.

Your data in the environment

Whatever you put into the environment is your responsibility. We do not read that data and we do not check what it is for. We also make no backups of it — an environment is a working tool for a set time, not an archive. Download anything that has to outlive the deletion deadline.

Complaints

Send complaints to the contact address on this site. We answer within fourteen days. If the environment was never created, or did not work during the time you paid for, we refund the unused time.
